Mid Autumn Celebration @ GL!!!

our bunch of colleagues planned a mid autumn festival celebration @ GL on the day after the 15th.. though not many turned up but the bunch of us had fun! dear managed to join us as well cos his nite training was cancelled.. after dinner and tea appreciation session "conducted" by SL, we went to the courtyard for the lanterns light up! we played with sparklers too but had to put out the "fire" as it was so smokey and the smoke detector was just above! haha reminds me of the time we had bbq session at the same plc and the same thg happened.. history repeats itself so why cant we learn our lesson har??!! we had a tour at the dark creepy 2nd storey but we were rushing thru the tour rather than enjoying the lighted lanterns cos we were so scared after hearing all the "hantu" stories.. ended the gathering quite late but so happy we managed to celebrate this festive season with my beloved frens! *_*

Happy 7th Month Anniversary!

It's the time of the month again! nope it's not my PMS though i just had it.. it's our 7th month anniversary! this month i spent it with my frens leh.. no lar they were not celebrating for us in case u r wondering wat's the big deal haha.. im not that thick skinned lar... it just happened that Appu jio us out for seafood dinner @ Defu Lane to satisfy her cravings.. the one with the superb creamy butter crab! yummy..

after dat we went to IKEA to shop for shoes rack.. i decided that i will need a shoes rack for myself to be placed in my room cos i had just done a stock count.. i actually had 33 pairs of shoes! and some i haven even worn b4 and dun even rem their existence! din managed to buy the shoes rack cos it's a bit rush so we will be gog back again.. in the meantime my poor shoes will just hav to squeeze a bit lar..

My Personal Koda Groomer!

My koda has a personal groomer.. & he's none other than my dear dear! haha..

me & my dear went to a pet farm @ pasir ris to shop arnd when he saw a pet grooming shaver set.. he was so interested but i was a bit skeptical abt it.. the grooming set is not cheap ok so wat if we bot it but dunno how to use it?? well.. in the end he bot it and eagerly went home to try it on his doggie jackie.. the result was not too bad but then again, his is a jack russell so he just have to shave him down.. my koda will actually require a schnauzer cut so.........

on sun after our breakfast @ west coast park Mac and a swim @ my bro's plc, we went back to my plc and start our mission impossible.. we tried with different blades and found the suitable one so i watched while dear shave koda'a body furs.. he was quite detailed so there's no worry.. the horror comes when it comes to koda's face..

i proudly told my dear that i hav been facing koda everyday so i will know better how to trim his face i.e. his eyebrows, beard, ears... if u hav seen a schnauzer aka ah peh dog b4, u shd know dat their eyebrows are supposed to be trim at a certain angle and guess wat? i actually cut it in another direction! wat was i tinking?! in the end i had to cut short his eyebrows and in my mom's exact words, he looks silly.. but the rest of the face was done quite smoothly..

the end result? u must be tinking why i din post a pic of my koda after grooming rite.. cos he looks exactly like b4 mah.. the way it was done by the professional groomers hohohoho.... :P

Good Old "Ventilation" Kakis...

my previous workplc is not a very nice environment to work in.. but one good thg abt there is dat we hav good colleagues (or rather ex colleagues).. precisely bcos of our common detestable factors, we had been very united.. lunch breaks and outings were used to ventilate ourselves abt our unjustice and difficulties faced.. one by one we left my previous company under the encouragement of one another but we still maintain contact..

i met up with two of my such kakis, CT & JY on Fri.. it has been 5 months since we last met up and goodness me, we had lots to update each other and lots to grumble abt anythg and everythg! i realised that the frenship between us is very special.. we dun hav to meet up often but once we meet up, we are so interested to know abt each other's lives, job, r/s blah blah.. and everyone will listen and give advices while one grumbles abt stuff.. i hav been keeping sm frustrations and unhappiness in my heart for quite sm time and cant seem to find the right person to talk to and my goodness i really ventilate them all out during our meet up and it feels so damn good! though some advices might not be feasible but we understand exactly how each of us feel and had a good time condemning our "frustrations source" haha..

Of cos other than grumbling, we do have good news to share.. Congrats to JY on her unborn baby boy! be sure to share more baby scan photos soon =)

Our Very Own Forum!

i love forums cos can get a lot of latest info and lobangs.. im member for quite a number of forums but now we hav our very own! thx to biaoge.. =) one dat we hav ownership of (see pic as above.. but the default is actually black in colour lar but i change my own settings to pinkvibes.. haha as usual)

now we can chit chat, gossip, share stuff or discuss abt work (haha as if).. it's so fun.. although quite a number of members hav registered but the no. of members posting is a bit limited.. hopefully it will pick up after a few rounds of discussion..

Bottle Tree Village

went to a fren's hsewarming at pasir ris today after work.. supposed to meet coral & gang for our long-awaited dinner at the line @ shangri-la but poor coral was down with gastric flu and had to postpone our dinner to next week..

dear decided to bring me to this place called the Bottle Tree Village.. dun ask me whr is it cos im all lost after dear drove into a very ulu place.. it's a restaurant at the end of a narrow and deserted road.. the feature of the place is that there's a few bottle trees shaped like.. well as its name implies, a bottle.. quite an interesting place with nice ambience as it's an open space restaurant near the sea.. there are swings and ponds around but were always crowded with kids.. maybe shd choose weekdays to go instead.. food wise they serve quite a wide variety of ala carte dishes mainly comprises of seafood.. taste quite nice but i guess the ambience is really the main attraction to the crowd there..

hmm if u are really interested in gog.. well.. go suft the internet for the address lar (haha u r expecting me to find out for u rite =P)

Bz Bz wkend..

It has been a bz wkend for me and dear.. Din really get to rest well cos got so many events gog on but we managed to hav fun =)

Sat was spent on preparing for my dear's Ironman (aka onionman hee..) race on Sun.. haha u r tinking wat it has got to do with me and wat's there to prepare rite.. dat's wat i thot so too until coral called me to meet up and hav pizza dinner.. it has got nothg to do with cravings or such ok.. she told me dat the boys will need the carbo for their long distance race.. we went to east coast to drop dear's bicycle at the transition point and went to parkway to buy anti-fog lotion for his goggles b4 we went to coral's plc.. on the way we went to buy bottles and bottles of Gatorade for dear and wong.. i thot that was a bit 夸张 until we met dear's fren at the petrol kiosk looking for Gatorade as well and it's out of stock! we finally got it at 7-11.. wow seems like it's really a high intensity race with 2km swim, 90km cycling and 21km run..

i gave dear his morning call @ 5am on Sun and went back to slp.. woke up and start preparing to go for my fren, Re's housewarming.. we had a fun gathering with all the chit chatting and made plans to go to Juv's plc next sat.. after dat me and dear rush down to marina south pier for a cruise dinner to celebrate a fren's bdae.. initially worried dat dear will be very tired from his race and feel so guilty but he seems more upbeat than me =P we spent the next 3 hours on the boat cruising arnd the islands and enjoying the sea breeze.. quite a fun experience and maybe next time rnd can makan at the marine south pier whereby they hav nice restaurants with nice ambience.. or even better go star cruise ya? (dear get the hint? ;P)
