dat's the queue no. we got for our balloting of flats.. well it's no. 56 out of 16 units.. hopefully 50 couples in front of us will reject the offer and we will hav more chance! haha fat hope.. 

anyway we shall leave it to fate bah.. we still hav one year so no hurry.. will wait till the market is more favorable for the buyers.. now is definitely not a good time.. sigh

Some preparations to do: gotta keep listening to her songs to get familiarise with them.. gotta rem to check dat my camera is full batt on dat day.. gotta protect my voice so that i can sing and scream.. 孙燕姿 i love u!!!

Happy New Year 2009!

I am not going to look back at the accomplishments (or more likely non-accomplishments) in year 2008 and neither will I make any new year resolutions for year 2009.. well.. reason being i din keep to any of it! and some even turned out to be otherwise.. crap.. hey maybe if i gonna make any resolution i might as well say smthg like "i wish i will eat non stop and gain another 5kg in yr 2009" and pray hard it will be otherwise.. bleah..

anyway there are still happy stuff to look fwd to in year 2009! here goes...

1. my office in a new outlook to be opened for biz in 2009: i believe strongly that the working environment will affect one's mood.. so hopefully it will be a good year at work.. pts dun complain, all staff guai guai, everythg shun shun.. namo namo..
2. Dajie & tion's wedding in 16 May 09: seeing them preparing for the wedding is sooo exciting.. im sure it will turn out to be a fabulously wonderful wedding.. 
3. Australia - Perth trip with dear and my family from 18 - 25 May 09..  hav already booked the bungalow @ Joondalup so now we just hav to settle the airfare & visa and we are ready to go! but hav to wait for 5 more mths lar.. arghhh.. 
4. i will be reaching my 30s in Jun 09.. omg it's scaryzzzzzz... *faint*

*takes a deep breath* okie dat's it.. im not in the mood to continue with thgs to look fwd to after the big 30.. heh..

5 Reasons Why I Didn't Update My Blog..

My BFFs sent me a warning email today stating that I hav not been very diligent in updating my blog.. they "threatened" to stop being my loyal blog readers!!!  imagine that coming from my dearest BFFs.. *sniff sniff*

i have got my reasons k so do hear me out b4 u gals make any regretful decisions wor:

1. I don't blog for a living.. I got to WORK in order to feed my cute baby koda.. and i came to realise i don't get any sponsored freebies just by whining in my blog (unlike some other species).. 
   
   
2. I guess i prefer to just either call or email cos how the heck am i supposed to know that my frens hav read abt my latest news in my blog.. well at least u cant ignore my calls & emails..  hiak hiak..
   
   
3. Blogging is not a lifetime commitment.. so i rather spend my precious time with my BFFs, frens, family and dear dear mah.. 
4. 
   I blog when im either happy or sad.. so if im neither i dun blog ya..
   
5. 
   Blogging doesn't get me to heaven ya.. wth..

i have cossed my 2nd hurdle and passed my final theory test!!! was sooo stress b4 the test and even more so when i realised that the next available date is in July.. i kept telling myself during the test dat it's ok to go for a 2nd try if i failed dis time rnd but luckily the PASSED wording flash across the screen when i ended the test.. *phew*

now my next step is to start my driving lessons.. even more stress~~

How Childish Can One Gets??

the past few days @ work was quite horrendous for me with the stupid power outage and system downtime and the reports that follow after that.. but at least there's some good entertainment from some spectacular character in the clinic..

i was walking arnd the clinic when i heard someone talking very loudly.. i walked over to the mro and saw this very flamboyant man in his fifties, wearing bright orange wayang shirt with gold chains hanging arnd his wrists.. wah lau typical lao beng lor.. he was talking very loudly on the phone so i just hang arnd the counters just in case.. while i was standing there, yean told me an encounter with him earlier on.. she was locking up the dressing room when she saw him sitting outside the room.. tinking he might be waiting to be served in that room and not wanting to lock up if it's still in use, she asked him which room he is waiting for.. and guess wat he did? he quickly covered his queue ticket, not wanting yean to peep at it and refused to answer her! childish rite.. there's more..

he saw me observing him at the counters and he asked lin who is @ payment counter who's the gal in blue shirt (btw im wearing a blouse not a shirt lor).. lin told him im her supervisor and guess wat he asked.. he asked if im bigger than Dr XXX, whom he was his regular pt.. and when lin replied him "no", he actually gave a smirk laugh "heh heh" as if he has an upperhand over me.. tak boleh tahan!!! how childish!!! but at least he gave me a very good laugh over the incidents..

i hav just passed my basic theory today! haha a bit old for BTT liao but hey at least i pass at my 1st attempt =P



has just applied for my provisional driving license and waiting to check the availability of advanced theory test dates.. im progressing towards my resolution!

Mystery @ MRO..

yesterday the most bizarre thg happened @ mro.. i was in my room when rose called me..

Riiiing...

rose: i found smthg strange in mro..

me: wat?

rose: did u drop ur bra strap??

me: (instintively touched my bra) aiyah no lar today i neva wear bra~

rose: wat?!

me: i neva wear bra strap today lar..

rose: den whose bra strap is it?

acting like a pro detective, i immediately whipped out my camera and rushed to mro.. and there it is! lying on the floor is a bra strap! i took a few pics and start my investigation..

1st suspect: my senior psa.. the bra strap was found on the floor behind her chair.. she insisted it's not hers cos... she said hers is not so fashion lar..

2nd suspect: errr... must be psa or ha lar since they move arnd a lot in mro.. the only way to find out is to..... *ta daaa* to feel their bra to see if the 2 straps are intact..

i spent the next 10 mins touching their bra.. all cleared!

so i broadened my search.. the next most frequent pple who walked in & out of mro are the nurses.. there's a chinese saying dat goes: to get the bandits u must nab the head.. so... i went into my NM room and start to touch.. not them leh..

den my spsa walked into my room and told me she has found the person! she wanted to clear her innocence cos everybody was laughing at her saying the strap belongs to her so she sneakily went to screen the back of some of the staff.. damn! she got it so easily just by using psychic eyes and im still gog arnd touching pple.. i admitted defeat..

actually was tinking if it's found to be one of the mro staff i will put the photo here lar to prove that the mystery is solved.. but it's not lor.. but glad that the strap found its owner once again.. but the mystery of why the strap will drop off in the 1st place remains unsolved.....

Starting Steps Towards My Resolutions..

took off day with my dear today so as to spend time tog b4 he went overseas for work again.. *sob sob* anyway managed to start small steps towards my new year resolutions!

Resolution recap: to obtain my driving license by this year!

dear brought me to BBDC to enrol and book my BTT date.. was shocked when the gal at the info counter told me i need to wait 1.5 hrs for registration.. there was only like 16 pple b4 me leh.. anyway since we r alr there so we waited lor.. dun wanna come down another day on wkends wh means that the wait will even longer.. when it's my time i finally see y the wait was long.. the counter staff has to fill up my form, checked my ic, photocopy the documents, passed to the officer to verify & sign, ask me to proceed to the nets machine at the other end of the room to top up my account, come back to her to verify b4 she direct me to another section to book my test date.. hmm.. isn't there an easier way to do all these complicated stuff? imagine the no of times she and myself hav to move arnd just to do an enrolment.. anyway i cant complain lar since my workplc not v the efficient also :p

Resolution recap: to lose at least 5kg!

made a pact with my dear to lose weight tog while he's overseas.. we recorded our weight and compete to see who will lose the most weight after 3 weeks when he's back.. loser got to be slave to the winner for a whole week!!! i better buck up cos im sure he's alr tinking of ways to make me suffer! haha..

A Weekend of Accomplishment!

Feel like i have done a lot this wkend.. guess i hav to keep up with the momentum to prepare myself for CNY =)

eeks! the colour will really change into such yucky colours lor..

On sat my dear came to fetch me after work and we passed by this shop just a few units from my workplace.. it actually provides ion foot spa which claims to detoxify the accumulative waste in our body.. well my colleague tried and her comments quite positive so we went in to try lor.. we just had to put our feet into the foot bath with ioniser in the salt water.. after a while the water changes colour which indicate the type of toxins being removed from our body.. mine was quite accurate.. my water turned greenish brown and she told me my gastric not v good.. well i do get bloated quite often lar.. in the end me n my dear bot a package to share.. hee...

at nite met up with my bunch of wkend movie kakis to watch Cloverfield.. NEVER EVER watch this movie unless u wanna puke like siao n experience giddiness.. the whole movie was so shaky and no storyline at all.. i shall declare it the worst movie of the year.. erm well the yr just started hor.. ok den it's the worst movie i hav ever watched! really no appetite to hav supper after dat n felt so sick we all went hm instead.. spoiler.. *arghh*

sun i did quite a number of stuff n feel amazed i can do so many thgs on a lazy sunday.. usually i will just "nua".. dear cycled to my place so we went cycling tog with baby koda.. hmm.. of cos koda dun cycle so he leisurely sat in my bicycle's basket.. long time din cycle liao so a bit rusty esp when i crossed the road.. scary man.. koda even whined.. so poor thg.. but i managed to picked up after a while..

after dat i went hm and decided to dye my hair black again.. so i whipped out my black dye and start to dye my hair and mess the whole place up.. oops.. while waiting for the dye to set in i saw a bunch of stuff i bot long time but haven unpack yet.. in the bunch suddenly saw my curtains i bot from ikea and decided to put up my curtains for the coming CNY.. it's not an easy feat ok..

talaaaa.... the end product.. not too bad lar =P

i got to measure the exact length to be cut off so dat it fits nicely from the window to the floor.. den got to slot in the sticky strip to be ironed on so that the hems will fold nicely.. and guess wat.. my baby koda loves to play with big pieces of cloth so he kept rubbing his back on the cloth, slept on it and used his paws to pick up the cloth to bite n i got to keep pushing his big butt aside.. as if it's not enough, he actually licked n ate the sticky strip when im bz cutting the curtains! luckily he did not vomit but i ended up with not enough strips to stick the hems of the curtains.. no choice got to cut into little pieces to spread out the strips along the hems in order to hold it.. n he got the cheek to keep sniffing the hems of the curtains cos got his saliva smell! *angry*

in the evening went to Pearl River Palace @ suntec for reunion dinner with my JC cum NUS frens.. it's an ala carte buffet and the food is yummy! just like wat it was a few yrs back when we were still schooling and had our reunion dinner there n then.. they hav "fuo tiao qiang", peking duck, drunkard prawns, sashimi, all kinds of meat, vege, soup and fish! my fav is the crab beehoon.. had a nice time catching up while hvg the sumptuous dinner =)

L.O.V.E.

had a chit chat with dj, pg & bg abt love & r/s today.. we talked abt our past r/s, current love, trust, feelings.. realised dat love can be so fragile and no matter how much u wanna protect it, it takes just a second to break such a precious thg.. trust can be easily taken advantage of; feelings can be easily forgotten; promises can be easily broken; lust can be easily tempted..

there's actually a similar pattern that we analyse..

1. grew tired of A & met B
2. test water on B if he/she is interested (yes im saying it will happen to both guys & gals so guys pls dun get defensive k)
3. positive response from B
4. start planning by picking on A & saying bad stuff abt him/her to frens, so as to justify his/her future planned action - wh is to dump him/her lar (hey nobody wants to be seen as a bad guy/ gal rite..)
5. B says yes
6. finally declare that he/she cant stand A anymore & ask for breakup
7. watever happened next we dun really care.......

well the hurt caused will definitely be there but the time it lingers differs.. it doesn't take long to realise that the other party is just a bastard/ bitch & the sense of relief sets in, tinking "phew! luckily i see thru him/her even b4 we got married" and the curse is lifted! and this whole phase has to be accompanied by caring & supportive family (esp naggy mom or sister) and frens.. ain't they lovely? =)

of cos we shd not be affected by these stupid Bs cos they r not worth any of our precious youth time (in case u r wondering, Bs = bastards/ bitches).. quoting from dj: just treat every bad r/s as an experience to learn from.. and it's really true.. if not for the Bs, we will not learn our lesson and rem to choose our next love cautiously.. if not for the Bs, we will not hav the chance to meet another smone who deserves our precious love much more & will truly treasure this special r/s.. if not for the Bs, we will not realise that our family & frens actually love & care for us more than we tink..

Reflections of Y2007 & Y2008 Resolutions!

it's the time of the year to reflect on the past year n set resolutions for the new year again.. my boss was sending her blessings and commented that it has been a special yr for me & wish me an even more special one for dis coming yr.. my fren was asking wat i want for the new yr and i told her i ask for nothg much but just a simple & peaceful yr.. but still i gonna set some resolutions for myself so dat at least i hav smthg to work towards to and set as a reminder for myself to be a better person for this new yr =P

Reflections of Y2007:

it has indeed been a special yr for me in 2007..

- got to know my dear @ the countdown party to Y2007 & we spent many happy dayz tog since then..

- built strong relationship with old & new frens after gog thru happy or not-so-happy occasions..

- took up more forms of exercise though din manage to do it faithfully..

- used to hav not much interest in travelling but surprisingly travelled quite a fair bit in 2007 and actually enjoyed it.. (visited krabi, hongkong, bintan, genting & planning a malacca trip soon)

- usual crappy happenings at work but happy news re pay hohoho.. but i always believe that though we might face frustrations @ work we must also be glad that at least we hav a job to keep us bz ya..

Resolutions for Y2008:

1) To shed at least 5kg of my weight..

i cant believe i hav rch the peak of my weight & is already XX kg! (& u thot im gog to post my weight?? c'mon..) yah a lot of my frens told me becoming fatter shows that im in love bliss but i really feel so "heavy".. and heavy at all the wrong places! okie so im gog to pick up my exercise regimen again under my dear's coaching.. also not to be so greedy & eat non stop to fill my endless pit..

2) To shower more love and pamper my loved ones..

i shd pamper my cute & faithful koda cos he's always there for me and neva ever blame me for neglecting him at times and still love me so much with his little whole heart.. he was with me thru my happy and sad times.. he jumped in joy with me when im happy and licked my tears when i cried..

i shd love my dear more cos he has showed me wat it is like to be loved & to love smbody.. he has taught me to be a better person by showing me the joy in giving as well as receiving.. i used to tink the happiest person is the one who receives the most but my dear has showed me that it's even happier to be the giving party and seeing ur loved ones in such a bliss.. he has taught me how to communicate by being truthful to each other and saying out watever is in our mind and no party is to be upset for the honesty displayed.. he showed me how to hav fun without reservations but with consequences in mind.. and yes, he does practise wat he preached..

i shd love my family more cos they hav showered me with care & concern in all aspects of my life.. though they may smtimes be too kpo for my liking but i guess they just want to know wat's gog on with my life so that they can give me the correct advices esp when im blinded in some situations.. they are forever so supportive though i made mistakes at times.. and of cos my two cute xuan xuan & jaden for eagerly welcoming me whenever i rch hm and brightening up my days by acting cute haha =P

i shd love my frens for being my best companions.. giving me advices when i needed them.. guiding me back to the correct path when im lost.. listening to my complaints when im frustrated.. accompanying me when im lonely.. believing in me when thgs were in doubts.. loving me when i loved u gals & guys so much! muacks!

3) To learn driving and get my license

i hav procrastinated enough and shd really start by taking my basic theory liao and my aim is to obtain my driving license by the end of Y2008.. my dear has agreed to let me drive his car when he's overseas so it shd act as a great motivation for me lar..

4) To save up more $$

really hav to control my spending and start saving up more $$ liao.. i hav been saving aside a sum of $$ every mth lar but i can do beta than that.. shd break the habit of see-grab-buy whenever i go shopping.. i hav decided that the best way to do this is to shop less (though it doesn't help that parkway is so near my workplace.. damn).. and also to refrain myself from taking cab which is so damn ex.. in a way it's good the fare rises so at least i will tink twice b4 taking cab.. a lot of $$ can be saved by not taking cab leh..

5) To earn more good karma

citing this from my fren during one of our conversations that we shd gain more good karma.. i decided that i haven been in my best behaviour in Y2007.. in the midst of frustrations, unhappiness, unjustice, impatience or plain ignorance, i might hav done or said thgs to hurt others.. i know that once hurt is inflicted on a person it's not easy to be forgotten though one may be forgiven.. smtimes it might just be done as a reaction to a negative feeling encountered but bad karma are often formed in such ways.. so for the new year i shall earn my good karma by being positive to everythg, everybody, in every situation.. it's difficult but i will really try my best =)

Happy 2008!!!

it's year 2008! spent my last day of yr 2007 last nite with a bunch of wild frenz (cora & wong, nat & jack, xd & wd & of cos my dear) @ Gallery Hotel.. started off with a buffet dinner with a complimentary champagne.. dinner was ok & was fascinated by the choc fountain.. the nite went wild when the party starts..

initially was quite bored cos of the totally wrong music.. luckily they decided to change to more "high" music and the craziness starts @ 11pm when the drinks were all 1-for-1.. cant really rem how many glasses we drank.. first it was lychee martini, den champagne on the house, cora & me ordered zen sling, jack ordered longan martini as our countdown drink and wong ordered some drinks he dont even rem wat it is haha.. was so high by the time we finished everythg.. me, cora & wong even went to the dance floor though not many pple was there.. we had so much fun making so much noise!

had a pleasant surprise there cos i saw appu's fren, dionna during the buffet and called appu on her hp.. turned out she was there as well haha.. so coincidental.. but she left before the party starts.. but we did take a photo b4 she left ;)

on leave again since last tues to clear my leave balance from last year.. luckily dear, cora & dajie were also on leave so i was kept bz with all the programs gog on! =)

we planned a bbq session at jack & nat's plc to celebrate their upcoming bdaes.. me & dear went to fetch cora in the afternoon to collect the pre-packed bbq food.. she ordered quite a lot of food as usual.. yummy! proceed to their plc at arnd 6pm to set fire and prepare food..

other than the usual three couples, another couple frens of the guys joined us as well so there were 8 of us.. we had a fun time cooking the bbq food with all the funny actions from the guys.. drinking bottles of wine.. just chill out and chit chat till quite late at nite.. so relaxing.. cant wait for cora's new plc to be ready so we can chill out every wkend..

bot ice wine as pressie for the bdae couple.. hope they like it!

had my 2nd xmas dinner at cora's plc.. it's a potluck party so we brought sushi over.. there's so much food cos everybody brought for more than 20 pax share and there were so much leftovers..

we played quite a no. of games and drank liquor & wine as punishment.. happy to see so many close frens tog at the same time but it's really hard to have a good chat with each & every one of them.. well guess we can meet up with the individual groups again to spend quality time tog ;)

will be mtg cora & a few others on xmas eve nite again.. ohh.. which is today! =P

21 - 23 December 07

just came back from our genting trip tog with dajie & her boy.. hmm din post any photos cos most of the time were spent in the casino haha.. but lost $$ lar.. anyway me & dear just treat it as a form of entertainment expenses cos we had quite a fun time sitting there, playing and analysing the jackpot machines tog haha.. it's a wonder time passes so fast while playing jackpot.. can just spend hours there without realising it..

okie got to disclaim that we are not addicts cos we did go to the theme park but it rained after our 2 rides so our next thots was to proceed to the casino again & "nua" there.. haha.. blame it on the weather!

we did some shopping on our last day while waiting for our coach to arrive.. i bot a pair of boots at only $93.50 ringit.. wondering when's the right occasion to wear my new boots!
