okieeee.. maybe sweet is not the word to describe a 30th birthday but i really had the sweetest and enjoyable day! all thanks to my dearest BFFs and my dear frens!
im hvg off day on my bdae so as to avoid the "irritants" @ my workplace and just right serene is on leave as well.. so she booked mani & pedi for the both of us at snails @ wheelock place.. we did our nails, discussed whr to go for coffee later, and whr to shop.. we bot 3 pairs of shoes each.. aiseh feel so tai tai.. *dear dear can i be a tai tai soon?!*
and the dinner was @ Indulgez and not the steamboat place that serene has led me to believe in.. with all my dear frens waiting in the restaurant! the moment we stepped in the waiter was like holding the ice cream cake and smiling.. it was really a SURPRISE!
and my 1st cake! my BFFs actually bot a cake when we had BBQ @ serene's boy's place on a sat.. it was a strawberry ice cream cake (yes! ice cream again.. i love it!) with 30 freaking candles on it.. i wonder how they managed to get the cake shop to give them all those candles..
and of cos my bdae cake from my dear.. he cant really celebrate with me as he's being isolated (poor thg!).. and yup the number 30 stands out once again!
and the cake from my family! noticed the smashed up side of the lovely cake? it was the art of my dear bro-in-law when he jam-braked while delivering the cake.. haha and of cos he got an earful from my sister..
