Dear sent me to the airport T1 early in the morning at 6.30am.. our flight is 8.05am so supposed to meet my frens at 6.00am but i cant wake up on time cos had a late nite out.. i was the last one to rch there hee.. we had breakfast after we checked in and soon after we r on the plane! We rch hk in the afternoon arnd noon and checked into our hotel, dorsett seaview.. the hotel room was small and quite run down but we made do with it.. anyway we r here to shop and not to slp our days away!
we went to hav dinner at one of the restaurants to have hk's specialty roast goose.. well a bit disappointing cos it taste like duck and much oily.. after dinner we went to the peak to view hk's nite scene.. a pity dat it was very foggy on dat nite so we cant view much but it's not a wasted trip cos we went to Madame Tussauds.. haha we had fun posing with the famous wax figurines..
after dat we went to the Avenue of Stars wh is a place to pay tribute to outstanding professionals of Hong Kong's film industry.. a bit disappointing cos nothg much to see except for the handprints of the stars along the pathway..
we took the open top bus to Ladies' Market.. they sell quite a variety of stuff there but price is very steep as they mark it up for bargaining.. can at least slash the price half.. din manged to recce every stall so we reckon we will be back since it's very near our hotel..

we slept in a bit late and went for breakfast at one of the many teahouses near our hotel.. decided to go Shenzhen and checked with the hotel concierge for the way.. it sounds complicated but we managed to find our way there by taking the MTR and train.. we were not sure whr to shop there so we just walked around the shopping centres near the train station.. mostly sell imitation goods wh im not very interested in.. nothg much to see until me and appu saw a tea leaves shop.. there's a wide variety of tea leaves and flowers tea.. we ended up buying quite a number of stuff there cos the tea that the lady brewed for us really smelled and tasted nice and refreshing.. i bot 2 sets of teapots as well..
we went back to kowloon hav dinner and walked quite a long way to the hotel.. we saw another pasar malam street and decided to walk walk after we drop our stuff at the hotel.. realised that it's actually Temple Street.. the stuff sold are relatively cheaper but less variety.. we passed by a street where there's lots of fortune telling sinseh and tarots reader.. me and appu were interested in getting our fortune told and walked around for the seemingly more credible one.. we saw one with lots of photos with the HK stars and his articles were being published on the lacal papers so we waited for him.. we went the the full reading wh is the face, palmistry and birth dates.. i went 1st and was told dat my life is actually ok so dun hav to hav my fortune told.. anyway he said that i hav 旺夫命 (haha my dear is so fortunate and blissful to hav me =P).. appu and yean had their fortune told and we were quite amazed by his accuracy..

It's Disneyland day! we wake up exceptionally early to fight the queue.. took a cab there but luckily there's not much crowd... yet.. im so excited cos it's my 1st time at disneyland.. took a lot of pics and took on whever rides we can see.. everybody is really a kid at disneyland! it rained in the afternoon and smhow dampen our mood a bit.. after exploring all the lands and buying lots of cutey stuff, we decided to pay a visit to Linda and Emma, daughter of one of our colleagues who's living in HK.. her place is quite near Disneyland but transport is a bit troublesome as only public transport is allowed there to prevent pollution..we met at the ferry to hav dinner and went over to her plc @ discovery bay.. her house is very big with the sea and yatches just in front of her big balcony.. a great plc to hang out or hav bbq gathering.. it was quite late when we left but dat's not the end of our day yet..
we went back to the hotel to hav a rest b4 we proceed to the famous Lam Kwai Fong for a drink and to check out the hotspot in HK.. we took a taxi there and was dropped at a plc with lots of pubs along the whole stretch of slope.. me and appu were checking out the pubs when we saw two ang mohs following us from the corner of our eyes.. luckily three of my other frens were following us behind and the 2 of them left upon seeing our 3 "bodyguards" haha.. we finally settled down at a pub call Fong underground.. it's quite a nice chill out plc for chatting and drinking.. we played games and it's quite fun to see everybody letting down their hairs and enjoying ourselves, not to mentioned those who got tipsy ya? ;P

Linda has kindly offered to bring us around for the whole day.. we started our day with dim sum at a restaurant at the Ocean Terminal.. appu and mf went to macau to try out their luck while the rest of us started our shopping trip.. we took MTR to Prince Edwards and walked to Fa Yuen Kai where there's lots of stalls with small shops by the side.. so much thgs to buy and so cheap.. shoes, bags, clothes... dun hav to bargain at all cos they actually cater more for locals so prices are not marked up.. we pratically went into every shops and tried every pairs of shoes haha..
we also went to small shopping centres like the Mongkok Centre and Argyle Centre.. their concepts are similar to our far east with small little shops selling trendy stuff..

Sigh.. it's our last day.. we have a few more hours b4 we board the plane so we brought appu and mf back to Fa Yuen Kai.. bought some more stuff.. can neva stop buying! walked back to the hotel and bought Krispy Kreme doughnuts on our way back.. it's raining heavily and we had a bad experience with the agency when the coach came to fetch us to the airport.. they actually requested us to cross the road to board the bus when the rain is so heavy and we had to lugged our barang barang along! damn pissed off! but we had to budge cos we wld not want to miss our plane.. @#%&*.. bought some Lao Po Bing at the airport and it's super nice! yummy!
It's quite an enjoyable trip even though we had to walk walk and walk long distance everyday... will definitely travel to HK again now that we know the places to go to =)
